Terms And Conditions

Programme Duration

The competition begins on 14th May 2024 and ends on 4th Sept
2024. Entries submitted before or after the Competition Period
will not be eligible.

Programme Timeline

1. Kick off & Registration (14th May – onwards)
A kick-off session will be held on the 14th May to provide further
details of the Squad Super League.
For registration, each squad must submit the following to qualify:
– Overall goal and 1 metric to measure
– Metric baseline and target

2. Reviewing Submission (22nd May – onwards)
En. Kamal & relevant SMC members will review and approve your
squad’s submission. During this period, alternative or additional
metric and targets may be suggested if your metric is not a good
fit.

3. Tracking (1st June – 30th August)
Squad must submit details of each new MVP, Agile details, and
tracking metric data after it is launched, every subsequent week.
Agile practices like Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint
Reviews and Retrospectives should be conducted during the
commencement of squad’s MVP.
The league’s leaderboard for each squad’s progress will be shared
on the Squad Super League website.
Squads who miss any submissions will be expelled from the
League.

4. Closing (2nd September – 6 September)
During this period, each squad will submit their final report.
Results for each squad will be reviewed within 2 weeks.

5. Award Ceremony (Mid-September)
Squads that met their overall target and other criteria are
awarded between RM6,000* to RM15,000* depending on the
outcomes achieved and the team’s commitment towards agile
practice.

Eligibility

Open to employees from Maybank and Etiqa (both permanent &
contract staff), whether in Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia,
Indonesia or Philippines. Participants must be employed at the
time of entry and prize distribution.

Participation Method

Once registered, each squad/team are required to:

1. Submit details of each MVPs, and how it was formulated
based on previous learnings.
2. Provide weekly leading metric data after each launched
MVPs, particularly if it differs from the overall Squad
target.
3. Mandatory: Provide insights or lessons derived from
launched MVPs that have influenced the new MVP.
4. Strictly adhere to Agile practices, including Sprint
Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and
Retrospectives. Spot-checks will be conducted.

Registration

Squads must submit their registration to join the Squad Super
League starting 14th September 2024 via Squad Super League website.

Prizes

Every squad that meets the following criteria will be awarded:

1. Launching at least 3 MVPs during the competition period
RM6,000 – and adhering to the agile practises
2. RM2,000 per MVP launched after the first 3 MVPs
3. Meeting the overall squad goal RM5,000
4. There is a maximum reward limit of RM2,000 per squad
member.

Rewards to squads outside of Malaysia may be non-monetary
due to current policies. The non-monetary award shall be
updated once confirmed.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be judged based on:

1. Timely weekly submission of measurements.
2. Adherence to the agile principles
3. Meeting the overall squad goal. The decision of the judges
will be final and binding.

Winner Notification

Winners will be notified 2 weeks after the final submission.

Acceptance of Rules

Participation in the competition constitutes full and
unconditional agreement to these Term and Condition.
